14 Years old Yasha Asley becomes the youngest maths teacher at a university in UK


Imagine a 14 years old boy in University, and now imagine him not as a student but as a teacher there. It might seem utterly superficial but it is true. Yasha Asley is the youngest one to become a teacher at a University that too of a tough subject like Maths.

Yasha Asley, a 14 years old boy became the youngest teacher in the University. He is a degree student at the university himself.


Asley, graduated from primary school and directly joined university at a tender age of 12 in 2014, to study Maths. He is 14 now and in the final year and planning to enroll for a Ph.D.

That’s not all, he was offered to teach Maths at the University when he was 13. On a special permission, he was appointed as the teacher at the University of Leicester. This is was he had to say about his job “I am having the best years of my life. I love going to university and I love my new job helping other students. No more school uniform for me, thank you very much.” - Yasha Asley

“I love maths because it is an exact science. It is the only science where you can prove what you say is correct. It is so easy and an enjoyable subject to study.” - Yasha Asley

His father says he is just so proud watching him flourish and grow to do something he loves. He is so good at understanding problems and explaining them in a clear way he is perfect for the job.
